Flavored frappes are all the rage and this gingerbread version will be the perfect addition to your holiday coffee routine. No need to pay the outrageous prices at coffee shops. It’s super easy to make your own delicious frappes at home! All you need is a blender and a few ingredients and you are ready to go! This recipe makes two large frappes, or you can easily divide it up to make four smaller frappes. Be sure to adjust the sugar content to your own personal taste preferences.

What kind of coffee should I use? Use your favorite household coffee in this recipe. It helps if your coffee is room temperature or cold before using, otherwise the heat will melt the ice and you won’t get the same slush factor that a frappe normally has. Cold brew is also an excellent option. Be sure to tone down any concentrated cold brews as you normally would to make coffee. Can I adjust the sweetness? You can easily adjust the sweetness of this frappe according to your own personal taste preferences. Add anywhere from 1 to 4 tablespoons of brown sugar.
